The chart at right shows that most contractors struggle with several issues due to the need to do double entries: ■ 73% report medium or higher impacts on the productivity of workers, and many (43%) state that those impacts are high or very high. ■ 70% find the speed of information workflow and cycle times are impacted, and half of those report a high/very high impact. ■ Around 60% also report at least moderate impact on the frequency of data entry errors and the speed of decision-making on their projects. ■ Nearly half (46%) see a medium impact that is meaningful on their project schedules. Contractors may find that they need to compensate for these issues, with higher bids, longer schedules or other factors that could impact the overall project budget or schedule.
