IMPROVED WORKFLOW FOR SUBMITTALS AND RFIs
Despite the relatively high levels of satisfaction with the current
process of using a PMIS for submittals and RFIs, most of the owners
and contractors who do so believe that creating a more seamless
workflow for these processes would increase the value they receive.
Owners are particularly enthusiastic about this. Roughly three
quarters expect high/very high value from the ability to move to a
more seamless workflow.
Contractors are also very engaged by this idea, with nearly two thirds
(60%) predicting that a more seamless approach would generate high
or very high levels of added value.

[A top benefit of having contractors use the same PMIS as us
is] we all share the same information through the same
system, so theoretically there should be no miscommunication about
cost, change orders, RFIs, submittals: It's all one unified system.
