KPM INDUSTRIES
KPM Industries - through its King Paving & Construction division - is

highway construction services. Over 85 years of experience and a fleet

Prior to purchasing B2W Track for field tracking and analysis, KPM was
using a spreadsheet based system developed in house. That solution was
less than ideal, according to controller Les Braun. He says supporting the
database was challenging, and reporting was always an issue.
Since implementing Track, senior management and operations personnel
have appreciated the ability to immediately see job performance data,
thanks to the browser based interface. "The reporting capabilities allow us
to get real-time information to management and accounting more quickly
and efficiently, and the month-end process has been greatly improved
now that we are able to track costs in B2W Track in the exact same way as
in our accounting software," Braun explains.
The reporting and efficiency advantages of B2W Track are compounded
by the fact that the software can replace paper based processes. "We're
not pushing paper from the field to the office and vice versa to get
reports up, plus it has streamlined data entry because it is all electronic,"
according to Braun.
