The aspects David Wirth likes best about B2W Software are
sophisticated features, ease of use, and the fact that the company keeps
moving forward.
His own company, Dallas 1 Construction and Development, has used
B2W Estimate for well over a decade and added B2W Track to take field
tracking and analysis to a higher, unified level.
"We just went through training on the new Market Analysis and Work
Breakdown Structure features within B2W Estimate and we're really
excited about them," the project manager and chief estimator explains.
"B2W has a leading platform but they also keep pace with evolving
technology and opportunities to make us more effective."
Dallas 1 was founded in 1985 and has provided a wide range of utility and
sitework services for a growing customer base throughout the greater
Tampa, Florida area.
Wirth uses B2W Estimate with three colleagues, often taking advantage
of being able to have multiple estimators work simultaneously on the
same bid. The team finds the ability to easily narrow down individual costs
in great detail and apply margins is a key advantage in putting together
winning bids in less time. The Job Specific Global Edits feature has also
proven to be very valuable. "That's a powerful tool that we use quite a bit
for unusual or out-of-town jobs where we have to use different equipment
or labor rates," according to Wirth. "We can replace our standard rates
quickly and easily across the entire bid."
